Are you ready for some [Flag] Football?
For the first time ever, PR Youth Sports will be offering flag football this winter.
Flag football is open to boys and girls in grades 1-7. Boys and girls will play together, and we will be dividing up according to grade levels after we get all the registrations in.
Our practices will start just before Thanksgiving, times and locations TBD. We'll have our games in January (all on Saturday mornings).
Each participant will receive a shirt and a flag belt to keep, and the cost is $15.00 for the season. The only thing you'll need to purchase in addition to the shirt and flag belt is a mouth guard. Each participant is required to wear a mouth guard at all practices and games. These can be found inexpensively at Walmart, Target, Sports Authority, etc.
Also, we're moving into the 21st century with online payment options. When you fill out the registration form, you'll be able to pay immediately with PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can pay as a guest (which is pretty easy) or as a last resort you can mail or bring a check to me. (By the way, the information requested on the sign up page is completely secure and is required by the processor - I'm not trying to be nosey). We thought this would be a much simpler and hassle-free way to register and collect payments, but if you're having difficulties, please let me know.
Registration will close on November 17th

Volleyball Season is here! (September 1st - November 10th)
It's been a great summer, but we're all ready for a little relief from the heat. The best way to do that is to start volleyball season!
This year, volleyball will be open for boys and girls 3rd grade and up. We'll have plenty of action for each age group, with appropriate training and skills practice.
Practices will be held on Thursdays at the following times:
3rd-5th Grades (option A) - 6:00 - 6:45pm
3rd-5th Grades (option B) - 6:45 - 7:30pm
6th Grade and up - 7:30 - 8:30pm
The game schedule and team assignments are posted here.
The cost for the season is $8.50 (to cover the cost of shirts). Please bring your money to one of the first two practices (on or before September 8th). Please make checks out to Matt Peterson.
I can't wait...this is going to be a great season!
